Role Overview

Multiverse is hiring a Senior AI Engineer to join its AI Transformation team in London. The position focuses on shaping internal operations and building scalable artificial intelligence products for customers. The team operates with a flat and fast structure, collaborating closely with the broader engineering organization.

Key Responsibilities

Own and deliver end-to-end artificial intelligence systems, including agents and supporting platforms, from user problem identification to deployment.
Design context and retrieval strategies, covering retrieval pipelines, conversation memory, summarization, chunking logic, and role-based access control.
Build automated evaluation pipelines and human-in-the-loop review processes to measure system performance.
Design and build the tool layer for agents, incorporating MCPs, APIs, data contracts, and error handling.
Shape technical direction by contributing to architectural decisions and proposing alternative approaches.

Requirements

Experience shipping production artificial intelligence agent systems that serve real users at scale, including context management, model selection, cost engineering, and evaluation.
Strong product instinct to identify user pain points, test and iterate rapidly, and execute under high ambiguity.
Full-stack delivery capabilities spanning large language model integration, backend services, data pipelines, and frontend tasks.
Clear communication skills to explain technical concepts to engineering and business peers.
Fluency in AI-assisted development and the ability to mentor others.
