Role Overview

As a core member of the finance team, this professional will handle routine accounting processes, payment workflows, and month-end closing activities for both the Taiwan headquarters and the American entity. Reporting directly to the Finance Manager, the incumbent will collaborate with cross-functional departments to streamline financial operations and contribute to innovative scaling projects in the fast-food technology sector.

Key Responsibilities

Manage everyday accounts payable and accounts receivable operations alongside financial journal entries.
Facilitate secure payment processing procedures.
Assist with comprehensive monthly closing cycles and thorough account reconciliations.
Perform regular bank account and corporate credit card reconciliations.
Independently gather and prepare accurate data for Taiwan value-added tax filings.
Collate and organize transaction records to support multi-state sales tax filings in the United States.
Coordinate documentation for quarterly external accountant reviews and annual financial audits.
Execute ad hoc operational and financial projects as assigned by management.

Requirements

Possess between two and five years of professional experience in accounting or finance fields.
Demonstrate familiarity with modern enterprise resource planning systems and standard accounting workflows.
Display solid proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
Maintain a detail-oriented mindset with high levels of responsibility and a strong willingness to learn.
Exhibit the ability to work independently, track task completion reliably, and communicate effectively with teammates.

Nice to Have

Background working in startup companies, e-commerce businesses, or high transaction volume settings.
Practical experience handling inventory valuation and cost of goods sold allocation.
Prior involvement in enterprise resource planning implementation or accounting process optimization.
