Role Overview

Granica is hiring a Research Product Manager for AI Systems to bridge the gap between advanced research and practical enterprise applications. This position focuses on building systems that move away from task-specific models toward shared enterprise intelligence.

Key Responsibilities

Establish product direction for artificial intelligence systems that learn from relational and structured data.
Collaborate closely with researchers to convert emerging model capabilities into production-ready infrastructure.
Formulate methods for measuring model performance, capability evolution, and production readiness.
Connect artificial intelligence platforms with data warehouses, lakehouses, and enterprise data storage.
Transform technical system enhancements into clear customer benefits and economic value.
Steer projects through every phase from initial experimentation to final product delivery.

Requirements

Five or more years of technical ownership or product leadership experience focusing on data systems, artificial intelligence, machine learning, or applied research.
Demonstrated technical judgment for collaborating directly alongside engineering and research teams.
Proven track record of bringing complex technical products from initial concept into a live production environment.
Capacity to evaluate performance, cost trade-offs, quality, and real-world results.
Background in fields such as machine learning infrastructure, model training, evaluation, databases, data platforms, or applied machine learning.

Nice to Have

Familiarity with tabular, relational, or structured data.
Previous background translating academic or lab research into functional production software.
Academic or professional foundation in engineering, data science, machine learning, or scientific research.
Demonstrated ability to link technical feature upgrades directly to business value.
Ease working within ambiguous, highly research-driven zero-to-one environments.
