What you will do
- Optimize existing scripting and tooling to implement additional features across the domain.
- Collaborate with senior DevOps technologists to learn and offload project features.
- Gain hands-on experience with project planning, architecting, and modern CI/CD principles.
- Deploy, present, and evaluate implemented solutions within a mature trading system.
- Explore and integrate AI-driven tools, such as LLMs or coding assistants, to automate routine DevOps workflows.
- Develop Python scripts to interface with AI APIs for log analysis, anomaly detection, and system alerting.
What you need
- Demonstrate a strong understanding of the Python programming language, data structures, and algorithms.
- Possess a conceptual understanding of design patterns, scalable system architectures, and defensive coding styles.
- Maintain basic familiarity with or curiosity about the Linux operating system.
- Show the ability to troubleshoot, independently research solutions, and communicate technical problems effectively.
- Understand monitoring metrics conceptually and recognize the role alerting plays in infrastructure oversight.
- Document processes and procedures in enough detail to enhance team knowledge sharing.
