Role Overview

As a Product Manager at Monarch Money, the focus centers on taking complete responsibility for discovery, prioritization, and delivery within a high-impact product area. This is a hands-on, individual contributor position where professionals build rather than coordinate. Key Responsibilities

Own a product area from initial opportunity identification through shipping, market iteration, and ongoing accountability.
Transform ambiguous challenges into explicit tradeoffs, clear priorities, and structured paths forward.
Maintain high standards for product craft by ensuring features both function properly and feel correct in every detail.
Make informed decisions by combining quantitative data, qualitative research, and customer feedback to sharpen judgment.
Communicate proactively and concisely with engineering, design, leadership, and go-to-market teams.
Leverage modern workflows and artificial intelligence tools to enhance team speed and connectivity.

Requirements

Minimum of 5 years of product management experience with a proven history of shipping successful products.
Daily fluency in artificial intelligence as a working partner to improve judgment and execution speed.
Ability to operate with high autonomy in an early-stage, fast-paced environment.
Comfort with technical and systems-level complexity, including financial data or platform products.

Nice to Have

Previous background in fintech, personal finance, or other trust-sensitive consumer software domains.
Experience working at organizations recognized for high-velocity execution and strong product craft.
Tenure at early-stage or scaling startups as a hands-on builder.
