About this role

Analytical professionals who thrive on untangling complex logistical challenges will find a natural home in this role. Waymo seeks a Product Manager to direct the network flows optimization for vehicle depots, ensuring that massive volumes of data and critical software updates move efficiently across the fleet without straining infrastructure or inflating costs. Operating at the intersection of software, hardware, and physical operations, the team requires someone who can look at competing demands for bandwidth and power, and then translate those constraints into a coherent, scalable product roadmap.

Success here demands robust stakeholder management, clear structured thinking, and the ability to turn intricate operational metrics into practical product decisions.

What you will do

  • Define and execute the product roadmap for automated workflows that require depot network bandwidth, including software downloads and data uploads.
  • Balance optimal use of charging and networking infrastructure against data demands and operating costs.
  • Partner closely with data science and engineering teams to develop optimal techniques for managing these data workflows.
  • Collaborate with other Product Managers, as well as Waymo Real Estate and Networking teams, to align on and execute the depot networking strategy.
  • Work alongside operations teams to ensure depot workflows can be executed effectively and seamlessly.

What you need
