Product-Focused Data Scientist (LLM Products)
About this role
Translating the needs of political strategists into functional AI capabilities forms the core of daily operations for this data scientist. Working alongside engineers and product managers, this team member builds large language model tools that shape how progressive campaigns communicate and make strategic decisions. Responsibilities include prototyping agent workflows, designing evaluation systems, and ensuring AI features meet practical standards under real deadlines.
Blue Rose Research creates research technology for Democratic campaigns and advocacy groups across the country. Success in this position requires balancing technical rigor with product intuition while navigating ambiguous problems without a strict playbook. Candidates who enjoy bridging the gap between statistical tooling and end-user workflows will find a strong alignment with the mission here.
