Role Overview

Maven AGI is seeking a Principal Solutions Architect to serve as the technical design authority for critical enterprise accounts in Boston. The position focuses on steering complex AI implementations, establishing production architectures, and bridging customer needs with product engineering.

Key Responsibilities

Validate integration complexity, platform fit, and security constraints prior to final statements of work.
Create reference architectures for multi-channel AI systems spanning voice, chat, email, and SMS across CRM, CCaaS, and data warehouses.
Direct Forward Deployed Engineers from proof-of-concept through production launch regarding architecture and quality decisions.
Transform custom implementations into reusable assets such as integration templates, reference architectures, and evaluation harnesses.
Facilitate architecture reviews, security sessions, and technical deep dives with executive sponsors and engineering teams.
Relay repeated customer requirements and implementation gaps to product and engineering teams to shape the roadmap.

Requirements

Minimum of 7 years of experience in solutions architecture, sales engineering, forward deployed engineering, applied engineering, or similar customer-facing technical leadership within SaaS, data, ML, or AI.
History of guiding complex enterprise technical solutions from early discovery or proof-of-concept into full production.
System design expertise covering APIs, event-driven platforms, data modeling, identity flows, reliability, and observability.
Practical background in AI and large language models, including retrieval-augmented generation, function calling, evaluation, guardrails, and agent orchestration.
Hands-on coding fluency in Python, TypeScript, or Node to prototype, review code, and debug integrations.
Strong communication skills to present technical trade-offs to both executive and engineering audiences.
Builder mentality geared toward establishing a new solutions architecture function.

Nice to Have

Background in contact center platforms such as Genesys, Five9, NICE, Twilio, or Amazon Connect.
Familiarity with customer support tools including Salesforce Service Cloud, Zendesk, or ServiceNow.
Exposure to regulated sectors like financial services, healthcare, gaming, or marketplaces.
Previous tenure at frontier AI enterprises, data platforms, high-growth SaaS firms, or forward-deployed organizations.
Experience building technical functions from scratch.
