About this role

Hubble Network seeks a hybrid Principal Product Manager for data, AI capabilities, and vertical solutions based in San Francisco, California or Seattle, Washington. This position suits an experienced professional ready to lead product strategy for satellite-enabled IoT infrastructure and industry-specific applications.

Role Overview

The Principal Product Manager oversees two main domains at Hubble Network: data and AI-driven features, and targeted vertical solutions. On the data and AI side, the role manages features like predictive alerts, anomaly detection, and operational insights derived from device and network signals. For vertical solutions, the role defines the customer experience for specific use cases including cold chain tracking, pallet monitoring, and equipment tracking built on a unified platform. Collaboration across product, design, engineering, legal, security, and go-to-market teams is central to the position.

Key Responsibilities

Own the strategy and roadmap for data and AI-driven product capabilities.
Identify value creation opportunities using data and AI, such as predictive alerts and operational insights.
Define requirements for data collection, normalization, metadata, quality, lineage, and documentation.
Establish standards for privacy, security, access controls, and data governance.
Partner with legal and security teams on privacy and compliance matters.
Determine delivery methods for customer insights through dashboards, alerts, APIs, and integrations.
Develop packaging and pricing structures for data and AI features.
Validate market demand directly with customers and prospects.
Create success metrics covering data quality, feature adoption, retention, and revenue impact.
Partner with go-to-market teams to select and prioritize target verticals based on pipeline, deal size, and technical fit.
Define capability sets for priority verticals such as cold chain reporting and asset loss detection.
Manage the user experience of verticalization across dashboards, onboarding, and reporting.
Determine whether vertical needs require new capabilities, configurations, or partner integrations to prevent one-off builds.
Translate field feedback and win-loss analyses into vertical requirements and sales enablement materials.
Connect vertical solutions to the data and AI roadmap.

Requirements

Minimum of 8 years of product management experience in data and AI products, analytics, IoT, or B2B SaaS platforms.
Track record of shipping data or machine learning-powered capabilities used in daily operations.
Understanding of data quality, metadata, lineage, privacy, and access controls.
Experience collaborating with legal and security teams on data privacy and governance.
Ability to engage technically with data scientists, machine learning engineers, platform engineers, and business development teams.
Commercial judgment regarding packaging and pricing.
Experience defining APIs, integrations, or enterprise data workflows.
Comfort operating in ambiguous, early-stage markets and validating demand directly with buyers.
Experience building vertical or industry-specific products on top of horizontal platforms within IoT, logistics, supply chain, or asset tracking.
UX judgment with a history of shipping workflow-heavy B2B dashboards, alerting, and reporting for operations users.
Experience partnering with sales and go-to-market leaders on segment prioritization and market sizing.
