Role Overview

This is a delivery-focused position dedicated to establishing enterprise post-training capabilities. The professional will spend the first six to 12 months executing real-world enterprise problem-solving and shaping the underlying product infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

Post-train, fine-tune, and align base models for specific business domains to guarantee reliable production performance.
Develop custom evaluation frameworks, benchmarks, and calibrate language model judges against human experts.
Curate and filter datasets using production traces, human labeling, and synthetic augmentation.
Monitor downstream metrics to prevent fine-tuning from degrading core capabilities or reasoning.
Interact with enterprise customers and product stakeholders to translate requirements into technical evaluation metrics.
Optimize open-weight architectures to meet specific enterprise requirements for latency, cost, and privacy.

Requirements

Prior experience post-training at least one language model deployed to live production users with measurable success.
Demonstrated history of building evaluation benchmarks and defining metrics for complex tasks.
Understanding of regression risks and strategies to prevent performance degradation during training.
Experience collaborating with non-machine learning stakeholders or enterprise customers.
Software and machine learning fundamentals with fluency in modern post-training frameworks and data pipelines.
Ability to take complete responsibility for the full post-training lifecycle from raw data to deployment.

Nice to Have

Experience post-training conversational or task-oriented assistants such as multi-turn chat and tool-using agents.
Background building language model judges or reward models calibrated against human raters.
Experience operating production data flywheels encompassing traces, labeling, synthetic augmentation, and retraining.
Hands-on optimization experience with open-weight models like Llama, Qwen, Mistral, and DeepSeek.
Backgrounds as a forward-deployed engineer, founder, or early-stage startup team member.
