Role Overview

Inkeep is seeking a full-time Senior TypeScript Engineer based in New York City to join the engineering team. This role suits professionals with strong full-stack web and systems design experience who want to build cutting-edge artificial intelligence infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

Own platform features completely by architecting, building, and maintaining critical systems relied upon by customers.
Shape the developer experience by designing APIs, SDKs, and tools for developers.
Build at the frontier and in public by working on modern agentic systems used in production by prominent AI organizations while contributing to open source.
Influence product direction using technical and product insights to shape the company roadmap.
Work directly with customers to understand how teams build AI agents and create elegant solutions for their specific needs.

Requirements

Three or more years of experience building full-stack products with TypeScript and a deep understanding of end-to-end web fundamentals.
Strong system design skills capable of creating APIs and architectures that are elegant, scalable, and developer-friendly.
Product thinking that prioritizes the end-user experience and practical application.
Full-stack fluency across APIs, SDKs, and UIs.
High ownership mindset to handle problems completely from start to finish.

Nice to Have

Experience building with artificial intelligence technologies, including prompts, evaluations, RAG, and agentic workflows.
Background working in developer tools or B2B SaaS products.
Previous open-source contributions or public projects demonstrating engineering craft.
UX or design sensibility.
