Key Responsibilities

Create, build, and test machine learning techniques focused on data quality evaluation, annotation, enrichment, and selection.
Manage entire project lifecycles spanning initial problem definition, deployment, and ongoing enhancement.
Construct dependable workflows for handling massive real-world datasets alongside scalable pipelines for synthetic data creation.
Assess data quality levels and determine their direct effect on overall model performance.
Conduct failure analysis and utilize feedback loops to refine data processing techniques.
Generate and assess annotations including depth maps, camera poses, segmentation masks, and captions.
Coordinate alongside engineers and researchers to build successful data architectures.

Requirements

Master degree or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
Proven track record of building original machine learning methods demonstrated through rigorous experimental validation or peer-reviewed publications.
Experience managing complete machine learning method lifecycles from design and implementation to large-scale data application, evaluation, and iterative refinement.
Proficiency in Python and PyTorch for model training, adaptation, and evaluation.
Capacity to design controlled experiments, define meaningful metrics, and analyze errors to direct system enhancements.
Software engineering abilities focused on maintainability, reliability, and code reproducibility.

Nice to Have

Personal contributions and publications in robotics, computer vision, or adjacent machine learning domains.
Background using distributed computing tools to scale machine learning inference and data processing.
Experience optimizing large-scale data-processing workflows or inference systems.
History of constructing and managing distributed data pipelines operating across hundreds of terabytes with emphasis on schema evolution, idempotency, and backfills.
