Role Overview

As a Machine Learning Engineer II at CLEAR, you will take ownership of foundational machine learning systems. Key Responsibilities

Own and drive foundational machine learning systems and architectural decision-making.
Design, build, and deploy machine learning models for fraud detection and image or document processing.
Develop scalable data pipelines covering data collection, transformation, pre-processing, and feature engineering.
Collaborate with product teams and stakeholders to solve complex technical problems and gather requirements.
Mentor less experienced team members and promote continuous technological improvement.

Requirements

Three or more years of hands-on experience building, scaling, and operating machine learning models for consumer applications.
Strong background in designing and scaling complex data pipelines and evaluating model performance.
Expertise in feature engineering, model development, deployment, and monitoring best practices.
Ability to clearly articulate technical topics to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Autonomous work style with a strong sense of ownership and curiosity for emerging technologies.
