Role Overview

The Learner Success Advocate for Artificial Intelligence (AI) at Ziplines Education acts as the principal guide and contact point for students enrolled in the artificial intelligence certificate course. This remote contract position requires approximately 10 to 15 hours per week over a 5 to 7 week period to help adult learners gain confidence in prompt engineering, communication skills, and real-world AI tool application. It is an ideal role for education, coaching, or customer-facing professionals who thrive in autonomous startup settings and want to empower career advancers.

Key Responsibilities

Act as the primary contact for assigned learners via Slack, email, and Zoom to build trust and overcome technical or emotional hurdles.
Lead weekly Slack communications, send motivational updates, and answer questions in a timely manner.
Conduct one-on-one check-ins and targeted outreach for at-risk learners to offer personalized encouragement.
Support weekly live sessions by managing Zoom logistics, tracking chat engagement, running breakout rooms, and addressing participant support needs.
Partner with instructors to maintain an interactive and high-energy learning environment.
Monitor learner activity, weekly assignment completion, and participation levels using the Learning Management System.
Keep detailed and organized records of individual learner progress and engagement.

Requirements

Bring at least 2 years of professional experience in customer-facing, education, or coaching environments.
Possess a solid understanding of artificial intelligence technologies, specifically prompt engineering and platforms like ChatGPT or Claude.
Demonstrate the ability to learn new software quickly, troubleshoot common problems, and explain complex concepts clearly.
Exhibit strong written and verbal communication skills tailored for a diverse audience of adult learners.
Familiarity using Slack, Zoom, Google Workspace, Learning Management Systems, and CRM systems.
Ability to operate autonomously and successfully within a remote, fast-paced startup ecosystem.

Nice to Have

Background in adult learning best practices or online education within an edtech context.
History of supporting or working within rapidly changing technical workplaces.
Experience involving short-form online educational formats, such as certificate programs or bootcamps.
Familiarity with advanced AI utilities and tools including LLMs, Miro, Deep Research, Make.com, or N8N.
A deeply curious mindset dedicated to tracking fast-evolving artificial intelligence capabilities.
