About this role

Celonis needs to bridge the gap between complex enterprise business processes and the execution capabilities of modern AI agents. The Intern Deployment Engineer will solve this challenge by assisting the services team in translating business requirements into precise instructions for AI deployment tools like Apollo. Working alongside senior engineers in Munich, this person will help configure operational solutions, analyze enterprise data, and validate AI-generated outputs for accuracy.

  • Gather and organize relevant data from various sources to ensure accuracy and consistency for downstream analysis.
  • Learn to direct AI deployment agents to build data models, process analyses, KPIs, and dashboards by drafting clear specifications.
  • Conduct exploratory data analysis using internal tools to uncover operational trends, process inefficiencies, and root causes.
  • Assist in defining initial solution design blueprints and configuring operational solutions across the platform.
  • Support senior team members in validating AI-generated outputs for business relevance and accuracy.
  • Develop and maintain key performance indicators to track the success of project initiatives and quantify business impact.

What you need

  • Show curiosity and basic familiarity with AI-assisted development tools alongside an eagerness to learn prompt and context engineering.
  • Possess strong presentation and communication skills with an interest in working directly with customers.
  • Demonstrate the ability to take initiative, work independently, and think creatively.
  • Be fluent in both English and German.
  • Commit to a minimum of 5 months of full-time availability.
