Role Overview

The Fullstack Engineer / AI Engineer for BRAIINS MANAGER position involves building software that operates Bitcoin mining hardware, including the Braiins Manager cloud platform and internal AI agent infrastructure. The team operates globally, utilizing a flat structure with flexible working hours available on an employee or freelance basis.

Key Responsibilities

Own features across the complete lifecycle, encompassing architecture, design, implementation, and production troubleshooting.
Develop NestJS and TypeScript APIs on PostgreSQL using Redis, BullMQ, Kafka, and gRPC alongside Angular and React frontends.
Build and maintain the internal agent platform, including agent and tool design, Model Context Protocol integrations, context engineering, retrieval systems, and evaluations.
Investigate and determine appropriate implementations for AI features within the product itself.

Requirements

Strong TypeScript proficiency on both frontend and backend, including Node.js and a modern Single Page Application framework such as Angular, React, or Vue.
PostgreSQL database experience extending past ORMs into relational modeling and migrations.
Practical background in shipping with Large Language Models, covering tool calling, retrieval, agents, and evaluations.
Proficiency with Git, Docker, and CI toolchains alongside familiarity with asynchronous and distributed systems.
Experience with REST and gRPC, testing practices, debugging skills, and algorithms.
Communicative English proficiency and the ability to work independently in a remote environment.

Nice to Have

Familiarity with Rust, C, C++, or Go languages.
Python experience for agent orchestration tooling.
Frontend design system, accessibility, and rendering performance skills.
Interest or active experience in Bitcoin and cryptocurrencies.
