Key Responsibilities

Design and implement core backend systems, guiding architectural decisions across the stack.
Deploy large language models and machine-learning pipelines into production, including retrieval-augmented generation, embeddings, and fine-tuned models.
Build scalable services that can handle a ten-fold increase in load while balancing short-term and long-term investments.
Create high-performance APIs and internal services that prioritize reliability, security, and a smooth customer experience.
Work with cloud infrastructure, containerization, and CI/CD pipelines to ensure smooth deployment and operation.

Requirements

Minimum three years of experience building and scaling production systems.
Strong foundation in backend fundamentals such as services, data modeling, and distributed systems, with deeper expertise in at least one area.
Demonstrated ability to ship features quickly and iterate based on user feedback.
Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS or GCP), Docker/Kubernetes, and CI/CD workflows.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
