Role Overview

As a founding member of the Forward Deployed Engineering team, the professional bridges the gap between AI technology and real-world impact. This position requires taking full ownership of the product lifecycle from initial architecture to production deployment while helping shape internal playbooks and technical roadmaps.

Key Responsibilities

Build operational rituals, internal playbooks, and technical roadmaps while navigating uncharted territory alongside clients.

Partner directly with enterprise customers to map workflows and identify high-impact opportunities for agentic AI integration.

Design, build, and deploy bespoke AI agents that integrate with customer systems and the Docebo Agent Hub.

Translate customer insights into foundational platform enhancements to scale features for the broader ecosystem.

Manage the entire product lifecycle from discovery and system architecture to production deployment and iterative optimization.

Shape the founding team culture and cross-functional organization design.

Requirements

Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience building, shipping, and maintaining production-grade full-stack software products.

Prior experience building, fine-tuning, or deploying agentic AI systems and LLM-powered applications in production environments.

Customer-centric focus with strong communication skills to engage directly with enterprise stakeholders.

High ambiguity tolerance and a founder mindset focused on taking complete ownership from zero to one.

Proven ability to rapidly prototype, experiment boldly, and iterate based on real-world usage and customer feedback.

Proficiency in frontend and backend development using React, TypeScript, and Next.js.

Experience with distributed systems, AWS, Kubernetes, and LLM providers.

Familiarity with modern engineering tooling including GitLab, Datadog, OpenTofu, and multi-LLM orchestration tools.
