Organizations scaling enterprise AI workloads often struggle to eliminate GPU data starvation and effectively unify complex data stacks across core, edge, and cloud environments. MinIO addresses this infrastructure challenge by building a high-performance data and memory foundation trusted by a majority of the Fortune 100.
To bridge the gap between internal engineering innovation and enterprise demands, the company needs a Field CTO to serve as a premier technical ambassador. In this capacity, the person will engage in peer-to-peer discussions with C-level executives and principal engineers while guiding large-scale deployments. An ideal candidate combines hands-on technical mastery of modern AI architectures and data systems with extensive experience in customer-facing technical leadership.
What you will do
- Act as a trusted technical advisor to C-level executives at major enterprise organizations.
- Design and validate complex, large-scale architectures for enterprise customers integrating object storage into AI pipelines.
- Represent the company at major industry conferences, webinars, and meetups through technical writing and public speaking.
- Partner with sales and customer success teams on high-stakes deals to unblock technical objections.
- Serve as the voice of the customer by channeling market trends and pain points back to product and engineering teams.
What you need
- Bring at least 10 years of experience in technical leadership roles such as Enterprise Architect or VP of Engineering.
- Demonstrate a proven background in customer-facing or evangelist capacities presenting to technical and executive audiences.
- Possess deep architectural understanding of generative AI, large language models, RAG workflows, and vector databases.
- Show strong knowledge of AI and machine learning data pipelines, frameworks, and modern analytics data systems.
- Maintain a solid command of Kubernetes, cloud-native orchestration, distributed systems, and the AWS S3 API.
