Role Overview

Leadership responsibilities include mentoring organic search managers, collaborating across departments, and presenting performance data directly to senior clients.

Key Responsibilities

Manage and mentor a team of organic search managers by setting performance goals and standardizing best practices.
Build and execute comprehensive organic search strategies aligned with client business objectives.
Analyze performance metrics using Google Analytics 4, Google Search Console, and enterprise platforms to create executive reports.
Coordinate with paid media, creative, content, and engineering departments to integrate search practices into digital touchpoints.
Oversee technical SEO programs covering site architecture, Core Web Vitals, mobile optimization, crawl health, and schema markup.
Develop and scale AEO tactics to secure brand citations within AI-driven answers and establish relevant performance metrics.
Direct local SEO strategies, including Google Business Profile optimization and geo-targeted content.
Integrate generative AI and automation into search workflows for content optimization and internal linking.

Requirements

Seven to ten years of progressive SEO experience, with five to seven years in a senior or leadership capacity.
Hands-on expertise across technical, on-page, content strategy, link acquisition, and local SEO disciplines.
Demonstrated history of optimizing content and structured data for AI-generated answers on major LLM platforms.
Proficiency with enterprise analytics and search tools such as SEMrush, Ahrefs, Screaming Frog, and BrightEdge.
Proven history of delivering measurable organic traffic, rankings, and conversions.
Experience directing search teams and managing cross-functional initiatives.
Advanced data synthesis and communication skills to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
