Role Overview
The Content Marketing Lead position at Patlytics focuses on shaping how the company appears in the market across content, social media, communications, and public relations. Located in New York on an in-office basis, this role centers on driving external voice, managing executive thought leadership, and building modern technology attention strategies rather than traditional blogging and editorial calendars.
Key Responsibilities

Manage company social presence end-to-end on LinkedIn and priority channels, including strategy, creation, publishing, community engagement, and performance.

Direct executive social and thought leadership by partnering with founders and leadership to develop distinctive voices and publish compelling content.
Direct external communications and PR surrounding product launches, funding, partnerships, customer wins, and company milestones.
Build relationships with reporters, editors, podcasts, newsletters, analysts, and influential voices in technology, AI, legal, and business sectors.
Proactively spot stories, trends, and timely opportunities to enter industry conversations and earn attention.
Develop overarching messaging and narrative to maintain a clear, consistent point of view across external channels.
Create high-impact content across social posts, video, customer stories, case studies, newsletters, campaigns, blogs, and events.
Repurpose single ideas, launches, wins, or insights into multi-channel content across social, PR, email, web, events, and sales.
Produce rapid-response content addressing relevant AI, legal, patent, and technology news.
Partner with Growth to turn content into distribution, demand, and pipeline, supporting SEO and AEO priorities.
Collaborate with Events and GTM teams to maximize exposure before, during, and after major conferences and company events.
Oversee PR agencies, freelancers, creators, and designers.
Measure performance metrics including social growth, engagement, share of voice, earned media, executive reach, organic discovery, target-account engagement, and influenced pipeline.
Requirements
Minimum of 5 years of experience in content marketing, social, communications, PR, or a combination of these functions, ideally within B2B technology.
Exceptional writing and editing skills capable of producing anything from two-sentence social posts to executive bylines or major announcements.
Strong social instincts for professional platforms like LinkedIn to make enterprise content engaging rather than corporate.
Prior experience managing company social channels and developing executive thought leadership.
Background in PR and external communications, covering media relations, launches, announcements, and proactive storytelling.
Strong instincts regarding brand voice, messaging, and narrative.
Experience working directly with founders or senior executives to translate their thinking into external content.
Ability to operate quickly, creating smart and on-brand responses the same afternoon relevant conversations arise.
Strong creative instincts covering copy, visual content, and short-form video.
Experience marketing to sophisticated enterprise audiences where credibility and precision matter.
Portfolio demonstrating range across social, campaigns, communications, thought leadership, and content.
Based in New York or willing to relocate for this in-office position.
AI-first mindset with AI deeply integrated into monitoring, research, ideation, creation, repurposing, and distribution.
