Associate, Business Operations (AI Tooling)

Nimble Robotics is scaling its autonomous supply chain and superhumanoids, and the Business Operations team sits right at the intersection of daily execution and long-term planning.
In this role, the associate will collaborate with non-engineering functions to identify manual workflows and replace them with custom tools built using AI coding agents like Claude Code. Candidates who bring a mix of technical software knowledge and strong business judgment will succeed in developing capacity planning applications, billing systems, and Slack bots that support the broader company.
What you will do
- Collaborate with non-engineering departments across the organization to identify manual workflows and replace them with custom internal tools.
- Develop and maintain internal applications for capacity planning, customer forecasting, pricing, billing, candidate sourcing, and key performance indicator reporting.
- Build Slack bots and assistants that retrieve and answer questions using warehouse, robot, and financial data.
- Provide ongoing support for launched tools by resolving issues, assisting users, and monitoring utilization rates.
- Help teammates maximize their use of AI coding tools, including shared setups and internal documentation.
- Define and monitor operational metrics while ensuring data accuracy and maintaining proper review protocols for sensitive billing, customer, and employee data.
- Analyze operational data to deliver actionable recommendations to leadership.
What you need
- Hold a bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Bring one to three years of experience in software engineering, data and analytics, solutions engineering, or a technical business operations role.
- Demonstrate an understanding of software structure including data types, functions, APIs, databases, and version control.
- Show comfort using AI agents to write code alongside proficiency with REST APIs, Git, and the command line.
- Provide examples of projects built using AI coding tools such as Claude Code, Cursor, or Codex.
- Possess familiarity with Large Language Model APIs including prompting, tool calling, and structured outputs.
- Display strong analytical skills, good business judgment, and clear communication abilities suited for both operational teams and executives.
Nice to have
- Building Slack bots, MCP servers, or other team-facing tools
- Web development and deployment using FastAPI, Postgres, React/TypeScript, or Docker
- Experience with Databricks, dbt, or BI tools such as Sigma
- Background in supply chain, warehousing, logistics, or hard-tech operations
- Internship or early career experience in consulting, banking, or business operations, accompanied by a GitHub profile
