About this role

Celonis addresses this gap by combining process data and business knowledge into a living digital twin through its Process Intelligence platform. As an Associate Applied AI Value Engineer within the Orbit Program, this hire will act as a trusted advisor to strategic Japanese customers, bridging technology and business to prototype solutions and demonstrate value.

Participants in the immersive 12-month Orbit Graduate program begin with a one-year onboarding period in Madrid before relocating to Tokyo, Japan. The role sits in the Global Value Engineering Center of Excellence and involves translating customer challenges into innovative AI implementations using platforms from Microsoft, OpenAI, and Databricks. A successful candidate combines a technical STEM background with strong business acumen, fluency in both Japanese and English, and a proactive mindset oriented toward continuous learning and execution.

  • Possess good knowledge of Python, common machine learning libraries including pandas, sklearn, PyTorch, LangChain, and pydantic, and data engineering technologies.
  • Demonstrate excellent analytical and creative problem-solving skills with a customer-centric mindset focused on value delivery.
  • Communicate fluently in both Japanese and English while displaying foundational business acumen and domain understanding in areas like supply chain.

Nice to have
