Associate (AI) Solution Consultant (Benelux) - Orbit Program

Working within the Value Engineering team, participants will help strategic customers bridge operational blind spots by combining process intelligence with AI and machine learning technologies from partners like Microsoft, OpenAI, and Databricks. The role exists to prototype solutions, demonstrate value to senior executives, and drive successful implementation and adoption across the Benelux customer base.
During the initial 2-year onboarding period based in Madrid, with a possible relocation to Amsterdam afterward, team members will engage in customer meetings, hackathons, and proof-of-value projects. Ideal candidates bring a technical background combined with strong communication skills, curiosity, and a proactive approach to solving complex business challenges.
What you will do
- Understand customer AI strategies and business-critical challenges to find the best problem-solution fit.
- Leverage advanced technologies to rapidly build creative prototypes in customer hackathons.
- Support customers in shifting from rule-based automation to autonomous AI agents powered by process intelligence.
- Execute end-to-end business-critical Proof-of-Value projects tailored to specific customer needs.
- Articulate and quantify strategic business value through impactful presentations delivered to senior executives.
- Contribute to the Global Value Engineering Center of Excellence by creating reusable collateral, best practices, and tools.
What you need
- Hold a degree in Engineering, Data Analytics/Science, Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related STEM field with excellent academic performance.
- Bring extensive internship experience or 1 to 2 years of full-time work experience at the intersection of business and technology.
- Demonstrate an understanding of generative AI techniques such as RAG, prompt engineering, multi-agent orchestration, and fine-tuning.
- Possess good knowledge of Python, common machine learning libraries, and data engineering tools.
- Exemplify excellent analytical and creative problem-solving skills alongside a customer-centric mindset.
- Communicate fluently in both English and Dutch with the confidence to present to diverse audiences.

- Degrees combining technical and business skills
- Customer-facing, customer success, or sales experience
- Hands-on experience building agentic systems using LLM orchestration and RAG
- Supply Chain process experience including procurement and order management
- Experience with enterprise resource planning systems such as SAP or Oracle
