About this role
Valtech needs an AI Technical Lead in Bengaluru to solve the challenge of transforming abstract business problems into concrete, innovative AI solutions for recognized global brands. The incoming lead will direct a multidisciplinary team in designing, building, and optimizing AI-first systems while working directly on the organization's various AI accelerators.
This position exists to provide technical leadership, maintain high engineering standards, and bridge the gap between creative technology and real client value. What you will do
- Design, build, and optimize AI-first systems and solutions that advance digital capabilities for clients.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to a multidisciplinary artificial intelligence team.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to identify business opportunities and specific use cases.
- Translate abstract business challenges into concrete technical deliverables.
- Drive code quality, robust architecture, and comprehensive documentation across technical teams.
- Facilitate knowledge sharing, peer reviews, and continuous upskilling within the group.
- Work directly on Valtech's various artificial intelligence accelerators alongside cross-functional partners.
What you need
- Bring a total of ten years of overall work experience with at least three years dedicated to hands-on artificial intelligence engineering.
- Demonstrate proficiency with programming languages such as Python.
- Possess knowledge of software engineering best practices including source control, CI/CD, and automated testing.
- Show familiarity with cloud technologies and managed artificial intelligence services like Azure Machine Learning, AWS SageMaker, or Google AI Platform.
- Maintain an understanding of responsible development, data privacy, and ethical practices.
- Display comprehension of modern concepts such as large language models, retrieval-augmented generation, agentic AI, and MCPs.
- Demonstrate prior involvement in MLOps, model deployment, monitoring, and workflow automation.
