AI Solutions Strategist
About this role
Businesses frequently struggle to make consequential decisions when critical information remains scattered across internal systems, external market signals, and team discussions without a clear audit trail. Fricative is addressing this challenge by building a Decision Management System that integrates diverse signals to help teams answer practical operational questions with verifiable evidence.
In this role, you will work closely with real clients to understand how decisions are made today, investigate complex information sources, and use AI to synthesize evidence at scale. You will break down messy business problems into functional building blocks, design reliable workflows, and collaborate with engineers to bridge capability gaps. The ideal candidate combines strong investigative research, customer-facing empathy, strategic framing, and technical fluency to turn ambiguous problems into repeatable product solutions.
What you will do
- Engage directly with customers to uncover their decision-making processes, hidden needs, and operational constraints.
- Investigate diverse internal and external sources to distinguish reliable signals from noise and identify conflicting evidence.
- Deconstruct complex problems into actionable building blocks and design interconnected AI-driven workflows.
- Test system components against real examples, identify edge cases, and collaborate with engineers to address capability gaps.
- Present reasoning and recommendations to users to evaluate trust, clarity, and practical action.
- Translate successful client methodologies into repeatable product capabilities for future decision-making frameworks.
What you need
- Experience translating ambiguous business problems into well-defined scopes and solutions.
- Ability to investigate multiple information sources, assess source quality, and recognize conflicting evidence.
- Demonstrated history of working directly with users to uncover unstated needs and translate insights into action.
- Strong communication skills capable of articulating uncertainty, challenging assumptions, and explaining complex work to diverse audiences.
- Technical aptitude sufficient to collaborate with engineers and utilize tools, data, APIs, automation, or AI without being a software engineer by training.
- Practical experience using AI tools to investigate, analyze, synthesize, prototype, or solve real-world problems.
- Track record of taking hypotheses or insights and turning them into tangible tests with real users.
Nice to have
