Role Overview

The Enterprise AI Office at Axi seeks an experienced professional to join the team in the Philippines. Responsibilities include designing front-end user interfaces, developing robust backend APIs, integrating cutting-edge language models, and automating routine workflows. The successful candidate will spend time debugging production code, improving system performance, and ensuring that user requirements and security standards are fully met.

Key Responsibilities

Build and maintain front-end components for AI products using modern frameworks while adhering to strong UI/UX principles.
Develop secure and scalable backend APIs using languages like Node.js or Python, incorporating models from OpenAI, Anthropic, and other emerging providers.
Implement prompt engineering, function calling, and output evaluations to connect models with platform services and data sources.
Automate manual processes utilizing robotic process automation platforms like UiPath or Power Automate.
Read, debug, and modify production codebases to resolve performance, reliability, usability, and localization issues.
Establish automated test suites using tools such as Selenium or Playwright and manage scheduled data ingestion tasks.
Scale product usage into regulated markets, gather user requirements, conduct role-specific training, and measure overall adoption metrics.
Collaborate with cross-functional groups to plan sprints, participate in architectural reviews, and uphold coding standards.

Requirements

Hold a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, or a related technical field.
Bring a minimum of three years of relevant professional experience in software engineering, artificial intelligence, or a related domain.
Demonstrate hands-on experience with AI agents, AI applications, or large language model solutions within a production setting.
Show proven experience in scaling and enhancing existing AI products and expanding their usage across organizations.
Possess strong technical familiarity with Python, large language models, APIs, databases, and relevant AI tools.
Hold appropriate rights and documentation for employment in the Philippines.

Nice to Have

Experience working with AI chatbots, voice agents, or comparable intelligent applications.
Knowledge or practical experience using robotic process automation platforms such as UiPath, Automation Anywhere, or Power Automate.
Background or familiarity working within fintech, trading, financial services, or related industries.
