The Demo Engineering team at Celonis builds agentic systems and automated tools that transform complex customer business problems into compelling demonstrations for Go-To-Market colleagues. This role exists to co-lead the transformation toward prompt-to-demo workflows, ensuring the company maintains its lead in process intelligence by letting AI handle the heavy lifting of demo creation. The person in this position will architect agentic demo builds, create self-service enablement tools for sales and solution engineering, and scale operations through automation.
An ideal candidate possesses the builder DNA, favoring scalable generators over manual fixes, and brings professional experience in value engineering, applied AI, solution engineering, or technical consulting. Proficiency in programming languages like Python or JavaScript is essential for integrating models and APIs, alongside a strong capability for strategic storytelling to present technical concepts to executive audiences.
What you will do
- Design and build AI agents that automate the generation of data stories, UI screens, and configurations from basic business requirements.
- Develop self-service agentic tools that empower sales representatives and solution engineers to generate custom talk-tracks, executive summaries, and pitch decks on demand.
- Manage the complete lifecycle, release, and ongoing improvement of strategic AI demo tools and assets.
- Identify and automate repetitive manual tasks in the demo lifecycle to reduce preparation time and effort.
- Utilize generative tools to translate complex data into visionary narratives tailored for C-level audiences while maintaining human-centric quality.
What you need
- Bring 1.5 or more years of professional experience in applied AI, value engineering, solution engineering, demo engineering, or technical consulting.
- Demonstrate hands-on programming proficiency in Python, JavaScript, TypeScript, or a comparable language.
- Show comfort in working directly with data, integrating AI models and APIs, and debugging custom tools.
- Possess the ability to translate complex technical capabilities into simple, value-driven business stories for executive stakeholders.
- Maintain a high learning velocity and enthusiasm for experimenting with new models, frameworks, and prompting techniques.
Nice to have
- Experience building cloud-based workflows or applications using Microsoft Azure and Azure Blob Storage.
- Familiarity with GitHub, version control, deployment workflows, and maintaining web applications.
- Background in frontend development and UI/UX design for intuitive web applications.
- Prior experience with the Celonis platform and process expertise.
