Role Overview

Woolpert is hiring a Cloud AI/ML Delivery Engineer to join the Cloud Solutions and Interdisciplinary Services team. Reporting to the Cloud Engineering Lead, the practitioner handles hands-on engineering, client project delivery, and technical leadership. Responsibilities span client discovery, architectural design, implementation, testing, and user training within the Digital Innovations market.

Key Responsibilities

Collaborate with client engineering teams, product owners, solutions architects, and developers to drive project delivery.

Conduct discovery sessions to identify technical requirements, business metrics, and architectural designs.

Translate complex business challenges into high-impact artificial intelligence and machine learning solutions as a trusted advisor.

Create strategic roadmaps aligning with client goals and maximizing Google Cloud data capabilities.

Design and deploy end-to-end architectures covering data ingestion, feature engineering, model training, deployment, and monitoring.

Establish repeatable processes and professional services best practices alongside cross-functional team members.

Requirements

Minimum of 8 years of professional experience in a customer-facing consulting role.

Demonstrated background working with artificial intelligence and machine learning applications.

Practical proficiency utilizing the Gemini family of models, spanning integration, customization, and fine-tuning.

Hands-on familiarity with core Google Cloud Platform services such as Vertex AI, TensorFlow, BigQuery, Cloud Storage, and Dataflow.

Proficiency in at least one scripting or programming language like Python or NodeJS/ES6 alongside related machine learning libraries.

Solid understanding of software development life cycle methodologies, Agile practices, and collaboration tools like Git and Jira.

Strong communication skills to explain complex technical concepts to diverse audiences.

Nice to Have

Google Cloud Platform professional certifications.

Background in professional services designing large enterprise solutions.

Knowledge of security and identity and access management principles.

The salary range for this position is $118,200 to $147,800 USD per year.
