About this role
Emergent Labs builds autonomous coding agents that replace traditional software development by generating, testing, and deploying production applications from plain-language intent. Operating in Bangalore, the brand and marketing team needs an AI Filmmaker to craft films and social content that resonate with global audiences primarily located in the United States and Europe.
This practitioner handles the entire production pipeline from initial concept and storyboarding to generation, editing, and final delivery using contemporary AI video tools. Candidates should possess a strong portfolio of AI-generated films demonstrating strict visual continuity, steady character consistency, and compelling narratives that transcend simple technology demonstrations.
What you will do
- Produce short-form social videos and narrative films utilizing AI image and video generation tools across the full production lifecycle.
- Develop original concepts, write stories, and construct detailed shot lists and storyboards prior to the generation phase.
- Iterate and prompt extensively to curate usable sequences rather than relying on initial generations.
- Maintain strict continuity across characters, wardrobe, lighting, and locations throughout an entire sequence.
- Assemble generated assets into finished pieces incorporating sound design, music, color grading, and captions.
- Integrate AI output seamlessly with live-action footage, screen recordings, and motion graphics when necessary.
- Develop and maintain reusable assets including character references, style guides, and prompt libraries for team usage.
- Evaluate emerging generative models and tools to advise the team on adoption.
What you need
- Provide a portfolio of AI-generated film work demonstrating strong narrative and visual storytelling.
- Demonstrate the ability to generate realistic imagery and video with precise control over composition, lighting, and camera movement.
- Showcase proven consistency across multiple shots within a sequence rather than standalone frames.
- Possess hands-on command of current image and video generation tools alongside an understanding of their specific strengths.
- Demonstrate strong editing skills in Premiere Pro or Final Cut, complemented by proficiency in After Effects.
- Apply solid fundamentals in shot composition, coverage, pacing, and continuity.
- Reside in Bangalore or demonstrate a willingness to relocate to the office location.
