Role Overview

ShipMonk is hiring an AI & Data Technical Consultant for a full-time position located in Prague, Czechia, or Poland. The professional will operate as a hands-on technical consultant, establishing a brand-new AI domain and helping internal departments like HR, Sales, Marketing, and Operations adopt automated workflows and intelligent applications.

Key Requirements

Three or more years of hands-on engineering experience in a data, product, startup, or solutions team
Daily use of AI-first coding tools such as Claude Code or Cursor
Proven experience taking AI applications into production with proper deployment, security, and monitoring
Experience building underlying data models or pipelines relied on by real users
Strong proficiency in Python and SQL
Ability to collaborate with business users, own problems from concept to adoption, and measure quantitative impact

Key Responsibilities

Identify AI use cases across business departments and translate vague requests into structured project scopes
Prototype quickly using AI coding tools, then harden and deploy viable applications
Construct required data assets, including Snowflake pipelines and clean dbt models
Release AI agents, RAG assistants, and automations backed by evaluation frameworks
Integrate solutions into existing tools like Slack, CRM systems, ticketing platforms, n8n, and MCP
Lead internal enablement through workshops, office hours, and resource templates
Track adoption metrics and continuously iterate on deployed systems

Nice to Have

Experience with Snowflake, dbt, and Airflow
Familiarity with Pydantic AI, Langfuse, or comparable frameworks
Proficiency in TypeScript or Streamlit for developing quick internal front-end interfaces
