Role Overview

The professional filling this position will help a healthcare revenue cycle management organization transition older platforms like MD Suite, PrognoCIS, CareTracker, and Cortex into a unified central system. Daily tasks include constructing data models, building pipelines, creating mapping specifications, and applying artificial intelligence models to accelerate schema reconciliation and identify data anomalies.

Key Responsibilities

Construct data models and source-to-target mapping specifications from practice management systems to the centralized platform
Apply AI and large language model tools to accelerate schema mapping, field reconciliation, and data quality verification
Architect and develop ETL pipelines and REST or SOAP APIs to transport data into the new system
Clean, structure, and enrich source data to meet target formatting requirements
Oversee, diagnose, and resolve production integration errors
Collaborate alongside the AI Architect, product teams, engineering staff, and operations departments
Document data models, pipeline configurations, and mapping specifications clearly

Requirements

At least 5 years of professional background in data integration, system integration, or ETL engineering with complex legacy technologies
Practical background applying AI or LLM application programming interfaces like OpenAI or Azure OpenAI for automated checks or schema mapping
Advanced proficiency in SQL alongside relational database management
Functional familiarity with Python, JavaScript, or comparable scripting tools
Experience creating REST and SOAP services while managing JSON, XML, CSV, flat-file, and EDI file formats
Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and PHI data security standards
Professional written and verbal English communication abilities
Documented history of working remotely with US or UK organizations using collaboration platforms

Nice to Have

Background in the healthcare or revenue cycle management sector involving platforms such as MD Suite, PrognoCIS, CareTracker, or Cortex
Familiarity with HL7 and FHIR standards
Background utilizing cloud integration architectures, specifically the Microsoft Azure ecosystem including Fabric, Data Lake, SQL, and Data Factory
