Role Overview

As an AI Agentic Trading Expert at CoinMarketCap, the professional will lead the charge in developing the technical infrastructure that connects crypto data with autonomous trading agents. Working within the tech department, the individual will shape the supply side of agent capabilities, drive demand-side integrations into live agent products, and cultivate a thriving developer ecosystem. The position requires bridging the gap between complex on-chain financial primitives and cutting-edge large language models to deliver reliable, hallucination-free trading intelligence.

Key Responsibilities

Build and design official skills spanning a comprehensive 14-domain taxonomy covering leverage, assets, portfolios, pulse, plays, risk, derivatives, and DeFi primitives.
Define publishing standards, software development kit ergonomics, and skill-signing revenue-share contracts for third-party developers.
Own the Model Context Protocol server and command-line interface to simplify skill authoring.
Partner with internal teams to integrate CoinMarketCap skills into live agent products and implement agent-to-agent protocol adapters.
Grow the developer community by co-designing hackathons, bounties, and technical support channels in collaboration with partner networks.
Produce technical content including launch posts, cookbook recipes, video walkthroughs, and build guides while representing the company at industry events.
Improve large language model grounding on crypto-specific context such as tokens, contracts, and narratives to minimize hallucination and latency.
Build evaluation harnesses to measure skill accuracy, reliability, and economic honesty.

Requirements

Crypto-native fluency with the ability to explain decentralized exchange automated market makers, perpetual funding, bridge risk, and on-chain identity effortlessly.
Comfortable reading Solidity code.
Hands-on experience with artificial intelligence agent systems including function calling, tool use, Model Context Protocol, and production usage of frameworks like LangGraph or OpenClaw.
Strong developer-product instincts demonstrated by building or contributing to adopted SDKs, CLIs, or APIs.
