About this role

Mariner is seeking an innovative Agentforce and AI Developer to lead the design and implementation of AI-powered automation within our Salesforce Financial Services Cloud ecosystem. This full-time, remote position suits an experienced Salesforce developer passionate about building advanced conversational AI tools for the financial sector.

Role Overview

In this pivotal role, the professional will architect and deploy Agentforce agents, autonomous workflows, and AI-enhanced advisor tools that elevate efficiency, personalization, and intelligence across the advisor platform. As a core contributor to expanding artificial intelligence initiatives, the individual will directly shape the future of advisor and client experiences at Mariner.

Key Responsibilities

Design, configure, and deploy Agentforce agents in Salesforce Financial Services Cloud to automate advisor workflows, client service activities, and operational processes.

Develop and optimize agent topics, actions, and instructions using advanced prompt engineering for financial services scenarios.

Integrate Agentforce with MuleSoft APIs, external data feeds, and financial planning platforms to extend agent functionality.

Partner with Financial Services Cloud Solution Architects to ensure agent solutions align with CRM data models, security frameworks, and best practices.

Implement Salesforce Einstein features, including Einstein Copilot, Predictive AI, and Next Best Action, to deliver actionable insights and recommendations for advisors.

Conduct comprehensive testing of agent behavior, handle edge cases, mitigate hallucination risk, and uphold compliance requirements.

Monitor agent performance, analyze usage data, and refine agent workflows based on advisor feedback and evolving Salesforce artificial intelligence capabilities.

Stay abreast of the Salesforce artificial intelligence roadmap, proactively evaluating and implementing new Agentforce features to enhance the platform.

Requirements

Two or more years of Salesforce development experience covering Apex, Lightning Web Components, and Flow.

Direct, hands-on experience with Agentforce, Einstein Copilot, or similar conversational AI technologies within Salesforce.

Strong knowledge of prompt engineering and large language model behavior in enterprise environments.

Demonstrated ability to design within Salesforce’s security model, including profiles, permission sets, and sharing rules.

Proven skill in translating complex advisor workflows into structured agent-driven action sequences.

Nice to Have

Salesforce AI Associate or Agentforce Specialist certification.

Familiarity with the Salesforce Financial Services Cloud data model and advisor or client relationship management.

Experience with MuleSoft integration patterns to enhance agent capabilities with external data.

Background in financial services, wealth management, or fintech.

Exposure to responsible artificial intelligence frameworks and compliance protocols relevant to regulated industries.
