2027 Summer Intern, PhD, Software Engineer, Simulation
About this role
Developing uncertainty-aware algorithms that enhance transformer-based multi-task classifiers forms the core daily work for this summer internship. Engineering interns execute changes end-to-end alongside evaluation processes, ensuring strict correctness for both data and model implementations according to established experiment plans. Attention to detail regarding the mechanics of the modeling setup remains crucial for success.
Operating within the simulation and software engineering organization, the team builds the computational core that powers autonomous vehicle technology. This group tackles complex technical challenges spanning robotics, perception, decision-making, and deep learning. Researchers and engineers who enjoy rigorous technical problem-solving and possess a strong academic background in quantitative disciplines will thrive in this environment.
