About this role
The Waymo Operations team builds and scales the autonomous fleet and operations platform, bringing the autonomous driving technology to the world from component sourcing to customer management. This summer internship position places an MBA student at the intersection of product ownership and Salesforce development, focusing on central tooling integration and cross-functional user needs. The person in this role will drive user research, facilitate design planning with program managers, and manage change management initiatives to help internal teams transition to new systems.
This role exists to support the deployment and scaling of the autonomous driver through effective internal tools and product ownership. An ideal candidate brings a background in Salesforce design and program management, coupled with an eagerness to partner with industry leaders on high-impact projects. What you will do
- Conduct user research to determine cross-functional requirements for a central tool and identify necessary integrations with external systems.
- Facilitate planning and design sessions for user needs alongside Salesforce program managers and external developers.
- Manage change management processes by hosting feedback sessions and supporting user teams through transitions into new tooling.
What you need
- Currently enrolled in an MBA program with graduation targeted for the appropriate timeframe.
- Demonstrated experience or knowledge in Salesforce design.
- Demonstrated experience in program management.
- Ability to work in a hybrid onsite internship arrangement based in Los Angeles, California.
