gecko-robotics

Gecko Robotics builds connected solutions for organizations responsible for critical infrastructure, combining wall-climbing robots, sensors, and an AI-powered data platform. The company serves customers by providing insight into the current and future health of physical assets, aiming to increase operational efficiency and safety, promote mission readiness, and protect the environment and civilization from infrastructure failure. Gecko collects inspection data, such as ultrasonic and non-destructive testing measurements, and pairs it with operational records to help customers make real-time decisions.

The company utilizes artificial intelligence and machine learning to turn inspection data into decisions by building models and systems that operate on real customer data. Its technology stack involves Python, PyTorch or similar machine learning frameworks, NumPy, pandas, SQL, LLM APIs and agent frameworks, Git, Linux, and cloud infrastructure including GCP.

The open roles indicate that Gecko Robotics is building engineering capacity within its technical teams through targeted hiring. Specifically, the company is recruiting for an AI/Machine Learning Engineering Intern position to join the Engineering team for a full-time summer internship. This role is located in New York City, requires onsite attendance Monday through Friday, and is aimed at candidates authorized to work in the United States due to government program requirements.
