Darkroom operates a performance marketing agency that has been running for 10 years, employing over 100 people and managing over 100 clients at a time while working with more than 1,000 consumer brands. Alongside the agency, Darkroom builds Shadow, an AI coordination layer designed to empower small teams in marketing operations by shifting from workflow automation to agent management. Shadow provides shared AI memory, centralized agent control, and model orchestration, serving fast-growing consumer brands with revenues between $80 million and $500 million. The agency functions as the proving ground and first user, supplying real marketing data at volume from day one.

To support the engineering and development of these systems, the company is building technical teams through open roles such as a Full-Stack Engineer. This position is structured as a fully remote role based in Brazil that supports an Eastern Standard Time zone schedule. The role requires broad technical ownership across back-end and front-end infrastructure, including Python, Node.js, React with TypeScript, PostgreSQL, Google Cloud Platform, and machine learning components such as large language models, retrieval-augmented generation, and prompt engineering. The engineering team focuses on architecture decisions, daily production code shipments, and shaping internal processes and tooling.
